Maybe it was a prototype ?
Looks like that's the way the liner was cast - I can't see file/dremmel marks or other indication of manual methods.
Wonder why there's just one ?

naa someones had a field day with that. seen loads of rd400 cut just like that. did a set fo 250 barrels like that once meself
