The stripe on the tail indicates D.

The stripe indicates H1D but the reg says KH500. Need to check frame & engine numbers to be sure.

if neutral is between 1st & 2nd it is a KH500

rubber mounted but neutral at the bottom of the box E/F

If it is solid mounted then it is a D

nice paint job Im not that far from you Crawley ive got a mate in Horsham he's got a kh 250 ive a h1a if you want to meet up in the future or advise on restoration give us a shout

that would be good i got the bike it had already been stripped and ive already noticed that not all is the same as my 250's so some help would be most appreciated 8)

there is a down loadable copy of the glens manual, but I suspect you have a kh500 and the gearbox is slightly different than in the glens as neutral is between 1st n 2nd
