1st Ride of 2010 Brrrrrrr Must Be Barking Mad

Post by GinaG »

Duno What Came Over Me Today

Guess the whole week has been mad for me anyway :?

You can't beat the smell of 2 stroke on a cold winters day emmmmm

Still Bloody Freezing Cold, anyway went for a spin all the same in rain & fog on the H1 & had a blast over to Abduls in Maidstone.

Stuck me gloves on the engine to get them warn, but f@%k me the engine was only luke warm after a 12 mile ride :?

Quick Coffee with the Prince & a look at his new project & then blasted back to The Geneva House Parrish

i was out today too. i was gaggin for it as i have been so friggin bored with the snow

I was having a nice ride out on my own....

....... till i met up with a couple of the bandit crew from blackppol. Dangerous Rob and Batesy

Image

i rode home with them from Caton over a wet quernmore (local rural racetrack!!) and gave the kettle a good thrashing. It held up well considering. The damp conditions slowed the boys down a bit but i managed to stay with rob all the way home.
Oh my poor old kettle!!
the only downside of the day is 4 hours riding and 2 hours washing cleaning and drying. :( :D

still it was GREAT to get out on a bike :smt023

we know: the S2 outperforms the poor thing :? 8)
and the Motobecane sounds more like Honda 400 NSR triple

I would love to here what a Motobecane Triple sounds like?

I have this feeling it will sound like 3 CZ 250 long stroke 2 stroke motors :?

JP You will have to get one of your Johnny Forigners buddies to ride one over to this years Southern rally they would be more than welcome mate  8)

This Blue one looks good in 72 H2 graphics ha ha

Not sure about the upside down horn...... but those two smoking barrels are on the wrong side

P.S Did they sell many & how many years did they make them for ??

Motobecane built under Motobecane or Motoconfort names 800 350 triples but they didn't sell all of them at this time, on sell from 73 to 76.
780 were yellow, 20 were red.
They built also a few, less than 10, 350 with injection on yellow or green.
Four exhausts like a Suzuki triple.
try to get an owner for a rally but difficult.

Wow Mate Fantastic thank you. Have kept it in favorites.

Got to say it aint half as pretty as the Kawasaki Triples, although the blue racing version looks sweet & the one in Kawasaki racing lime green too. The yellow bike looks quite nice 8)

Those wheels look like the A.R.E ones that Kawasaki fitted on the road bikes?
