Dyson KH250

Post by Kev »

Just picked up this Dyson, very original with ARE wheels, although it has double discs and boyer ignition. Also it has rearsets fitted, but it looks quite a professional job, so l don't know if they originally offered these. Only problem is that the screen is broken, any ideas where to get one?.
I'm not sure what to do with it, redo as KH250 or rebuild as Dyson.
As there were so few of them, i suppose it should be the dyson.

not standard with twin discs

what used to happen was 2 left fork legs (with the brackets for the calliper) where used and new holes drilled for the mudgaurd to mount

I agree Gary, it looks like the reversed fork leg trick - you can't see the bleed screw as it'll be on the inside face of that new RH leg.

Google Meadspead for a replacement screen, they've been at the business for years and do a range of replacement screens for allsorts of bikes including old roadracers.
or 01908 610311 should get them. Bill.

rearsets arent dyson but are that era, but heavily modified (read butchered by some heathen)

I sold some to simon about 20 years ago Hal, he might still have them
