h2 rear lense cover

Post by Gard »

hello guys...have i allways had a mystery lense here!...i cracked the lense on my 73 h2 some years ago ,a large hole formed so looked for a replacement..simple?...the lense has a large square reflector built on it ..every single lense ive found on e bay ect have the 2 round refletors..and the screw holes are different..does this mean the blue h2 i brought in 1988 has a "ringer on the back"?...ive seen this type of lense on certain hie in the past and the model on my haynes repair manuel is a 500 with this lense...so to this day my new lense is held on by just 2 screws because i cant find a match.

Hmmm? -If it has a Rectangular Reflective Strip it sounds like a late type KH500 Type :?

Sure i have a H2 lense with a bit of damage. KH500 ones have the same fitting on some USA versions! UK KH500 Lense do not fit. Pictue will help as you may have a KHlamp.
