Northern Rally

Hi all. The rally is next weekend and hope you will all be able to attend. The cost of the weekend is £15. Once you have paid a wrist band will be supplied. Please try and come forward to pay this as trying to track people down takes time out from OUR rally weekend. With band hire, insurance, trophies, etc, this weekend is not cheap for the club so please dont make us have to beg for the entry fee. Rick, as usual, has put a lot of effort into this as well as the rest of the committee so please play ball on this one guys. Also, we are planning a run to visit Joe Akinsawa's grave on Friday evening. If you want to go, dont get pissed as soon as you arrive. On Saturday morning at 10.30 sharp, we will hold the AGM in the downstairs bar. It is important for everyone to attend as this is the 2nd year of the committee and a new one has to be voted in. The current members can stand for re election of course. If anyone else wants to do one of the committee jobs you will need a proposer and seconder (you will need 2 friends so that counts me out). Each person standing for a post will then be voted on by the members. Winner takes the post for 2 years. Posts are

We will also be having a quiz on one of the evenings, probably early Saturday. It will have several rounds. Myself and Richard Young are writing this so we cannot join in. Music, general knowledge picture and Triple rounds are the format. Maximum of 4 people to a group. Every person pays £1 to enter. The winning team all get a Triples club Tee shirt, hence the reason of 4 max to a team. Pick your mates carefully for this one. As i have no fucking mates i will be quiz master and my word is final on answers whether they are right or wrong. Bollox.

Just like other years I will be taking my son (James) to the rally , but this year he will be taking the bull by the horns and going on his own Peugeot viva city scooter .We are going early Sat morning as I am going out on a end of year piss up Friday night in Leeds(college year that is )
No sleep till Ilkestone !!!!
