Unfortunately

Post by malc87 »

I am not going to be able to attend the North West Rally.
Julie has suffered a bad relapse with her M.S.
It has left her for the moment deaf in one ear and with bad vision and balance.
The balance has been a problem for some time and she has been using a stick for longer outings.
Im sure you all fully understand my reason for not attending but Family does come first .
We have been back at the Doctor this morning, and also consulted her M.S. mentor (dedicated nurse she can ring at any time).
some extra drugs have been prescribed (she already injects herself EVERY other day with drugs :( ), and we hope this extra medication will alleviate her symptoms.
If you seen her she looks and trys to portray herself as perfectly normal, however, internally the desease is playing havoc with her immune system.
She has been house bound now for a week (no work and no driving),so i would like to take her somewhere nice this weekend.
:D
It does leave the problem that I have the trophys but im sure someone could pick them up on route as im only 6 miles off juction 19 of the M6.
Sam was hoping to call on route to see the new garage so maybe this could still be arranged.

Really sorry for Julie and you.
My thought with you: family and wife first.
A good recovery.

Big thanks to Rog (old coney)who was also prepared to pick up the trophys even though it was going to add a lot to his journey.
