Post by Gard »

last wk my friend of 49years sold his green h1e which he brought 34 years ago aged 18 . its been standing in his shed<not garage> for 25 years since he damaged the pick ups and rotor on its cdi side...he did not come of the bike way back when but scrapped it along a wall whilst pulling a wheelie!..anyway it was never siezed or dropped had finished with just 8k on the clock and its sat there since but the tank panels ect and exhausts have allways been kept in the house, during a chance meeting with a guy who i had not seen since 1979 at the ace" cafe in april i talked about this bike as the grEen was what he was looking for although i expressed he would never sell and it would prob go to the grave with it, well suck me dry my ol" buddy has sold it !!! how much ..£800..TO CHEAP I THINK A BARGAIN I THINK..BUT WHAT DO I KNOW.!.

Hey Gard, I went past the lock ups at the w/e and see they've been shuttered up ready for that re-development you were suspecting. Shit news. Have you and Tony been OK to find somewhere new for your collection?

hello hal...yes im ok..no thanks to VINCE CABLE who was only intrested in parliment and getting his greedy hands on power that he abstained on the crucial north teddington vote for that redevelopement..it went on april 1st ...i was out and into a new garage well before at christmas...tony in a really suprising move sold his brown h2b which hes had since 1978 i think because of the pressure of loosing our garage...that prob i had with the clutch noise last year..solved ..had a rougue clutch plate in the mix which was slightly to large and we filed it down and of course the lump of weald inside ..all done and fine now .
