After a long talk this morning with my surgeon, I've been let out of hospital for this weekend only. Strict instructions and diet to follow with lots of drugs. I have to return for some camera work and then the surgeon will advise me of what's next. One intestine is twisted, the other partially blocked - looked like a Timex on the scan??? Looks like I will be going for another op in the next week or so. I cannot express how happy I am that they've at last found the cause of this pain. It is always there but just gets worse when you eat or sit up.

In a few months I'll be laughing about this and will be back at the track on a nice summer evening, sipping a strong shandy, sharing a few laughs with some really good friends... :D

Thanks to all for your nice messages of support and all the calls too. To all who have jobs with me, I will do my best to sort you out before they haul me back in.

Thanks again,
Chris.
