...to all those who sent me cards, texts and a few calls during my stay in hospital. Some of you I''ve not even met yet but hope to do so soon.
Tina collected me from hospital on Saturday and I spent the weekend at home adjusting to normality. Sorry I was unable to take many calls but I simlpy wasn't up to talking much.
I really don't want to go over what happened as it's something that I want to wipe from my mind as soon as I'm able. It was without doubt, the most horrific experience of my life. What they did eventually find was a large tumour that had grown around my large bowel and appendix. Half my bowel and appendix have now been removed an hopefully that will be an end to it. I should work the same but just have to be careful what I eat & drink.
Ever the optimist, I now look forward to gaining weight (11st 10lbs now) getting my fitness back and getting back to work. I hope to make the Southern and meet you all again.
Chris.

Really good to hear your little (online) voice again Chris. This is really good news to hear you are on the slow but sure path to getting back to your old self again.
Cheers
