whats the correct setting for h2c standard carb needles ?..theres 5 notches and i prefer a richer running ..standard exhausts and manifold rubber/airbox in use and new main jets and the needles...thanks

Running rich. The excess petrol content in the mixture does not burn (it has no oxygen content left for ignition). In bad cases of richness the excess petrol can help wash the cylinder wall of badly needed lube. Plus all what the bat hunter said
