Still its someones pride and joy reduced to carbon, I always get upset when i break things... i bet beardy shed a coupla tears.

It did happen at a triples rally! One of Rick's bikes caught fire several years ago at the Southern Rally at the Village Inn at Shedfield. Fortunately, the fire was put out fairly rapidly and I think only the wiring loom suffered.
