I was so miffed I couldn't come this time. I had even cut some sandwiches and set up my satnav. I just didn't think it was such a good idea as I started to feel a bit poorly and was quite bad last weekend.

Never mind, I'm determined to get to the next one AND get my bike finished for the rideout. :D

I'm glad the new venue was such a success - well done Del!!

And I didn't even look at the nuts and bolts!! It was payback time on my way home though! "Somewhere" on the A25, having just blatted past a stack of Sunday drivers, the bike just conked out! I quickly narrowed it down to the fuse, but it didn't look blown, so it had just failed from the vibration (the same vibration that broke the side panel on the way to the rally :(). I couldn't find the spare fuse I thought I had, but by some stroke of luck, a litter-lout had dropped their empty cigarette packet in the very lay-by I had stopped in. So, I found out that the foil wrapping in cigarette packets really can get you home!! :D

The new rally venue was indeed great and the weather was fairly kind to us, only trying to soak us late Saturday afternoon.
