After the disaster I had with my last shipment of rods, I was really impressed with the latest parcel I got from Bill B. He posted it on the 20th October in Texas and I got it yesterday on the 26th October - not bad, eh? Even went straight through customs... :D

I always seem to cop VAT & a holding Fee on most things that I receive from the States these Days? :cry:

Quick Post too - Only Person who does the same time frame is Jess Freeby (Jess Bikes).

Last item value $30 from States cost me £25 duty & charges! Bar stewards!!

hi chris, i just bought a crank in 3 pieces, can we discuss costs for getting it together and useful?.....

To get around charges at the mo ask seller to put it down as a gift and less than $25.00.

While I don't mind (too much) the VAT, I don't like having to pay parcel force £9 (it was something like that)

What I certainly don't like is having to make a 90 min round trip to hanger-poxy-lane where the depot is for this area.

You don't have to go to the depot. You can pay on the telephone or online and they will then deliver as normal :D :D :D
