Today at 11.30am I married my best friend and soul mate, Tina. After being engaged for the last eight years we thought we'd just bite the bullet and go for it. We had been wanting to do this for a long time but just never had the money spare as we both have a lot of family. You know what it's like, if you invite one couple then another other couple have to come too and before you know it, we were looking at a minimum of sixty people and a £5000 cost! So, we booked the registry office and invited my daughter Jessica and Tina's daughter Olivia to be the witnesses and swore them to secrecy. I'm sure when we tell our families they will understand.
Jessica bought her fiance Darren and my only grandchild Reuben with her and it really was a very special day.
It may sound soppy but I count myself as one of the very few lucky ones who finds their perfect partner. Tina is the most caring and loving person I know and I am truly blessed to have found her. I'm so happy I just had to share this!!
