... I'm going in for my second cycle of Chemotherapy on Friday so please don't worry if you can't get hold of me for the next few days. It will confine me to bed and I'll have trouble talking due to it affecting the larynx. I will return calls and answer emails as soon as I am able. Now I know how poorly it makes me I thought I'd pre-warn people this time.

Thank you all again for your nice messages, PM's & emails. It really is a big boost for me to see & recieve them.

Feeling much better today so hopefully looking forward to getting back to normality again in my workshop towards the end of the week. Downside of this particular Chemo (there are lots of different types) is that it makes your larynx, inside your nose and especially your fingers & hands very sensitive to cold air or touch. If I want milk out of the fridge I have to wear gloves, my knife & fork has to be run under hot water before I can hold it. Failure to do so results in quite painful pins & needles! I tried going outside for a walk with Tina & the dog today but managed only 50 yards before my throat & nose started to hurt.

This cycle will last another 10 days or so and I'll be progressively be feeling better each day. Then I'll have a week were I feel just great - and then have to start another cycle again! I'm hoping that 3 cycles will be enough for a while but will do whatever they tell me. I just don't want to miss the first event at Shakey!

Pleased you out & about again Chris. That Wind is still cold for the rest of us also. Looks nice in the Sun but feels very Fresh out there.

Still absolutely zonked out - sleeping nearly all the time. Tina said it took this long last time to feel a bit better but I'd probably forgotton due to the meds!

Here's to getting back in my workshop, a hot cup of coffee and listening to "Pop Master!"
