are the H1500 oil pumps the same as the h2 pumps ?..

No the H2 ones pump about 33% more :D :D :D

you can safely use a 500 on a 750 though :)

oils have moved on a bit since 1972

yep :wink: i think the original pumps were 25%overpumping were they not ?

The H2 pumps did have an higher output, but as was posted, the oils are better so you can use a 500 pump pretty safely.....
