Ok I bought a UK h1d frame this week from Mr Clarke and it turns out to be 6 digits away from the 666 four of Rog Ramm a (very old friend of mine ) Roger has deemed them brothers so I am gonna do the right thing and get it back on the road. It would be GREAT to find the original crankcases which should be KAE 82123. Gary has a set of cases which are damn close but you never know the real ones could still be out there! Come on look at that shitty set of cases doing fuxxall in the workshop and put back one of only 21 UK h1ds back on the road.......so to recap who has got a set of cases KAE 82123 knocking around?? Yeah I was thinking that Malc As to the engine and frame nos being 300 out Damiens are 68858 apart and my US d 70006 apart but then you have to factor in the fact that the d frames started from H1f 00001 Will try to get me head around this over a glass of red tonite!
While we are talking about D numbers, I have a US import D with KAE73090 and H1F03127. Mraxls site shows engines commencing 70024 and frames 00001. If you drop the 7 from the engine and the first 0 from the frame, does that make 3090 and 3127 a match?

Hi Rob, sorry no cases available but after reading your post I got curious about my US H1D numbers. Turns out I have KAE 81998, which is only 125 away from the ones you're looking for.

Yeah guess so Gary Going up to Mums next week for guess what :)will look at the cases I have there and then probaly ring you with a list of whats needed......gonna put the 69 resto on the back burner cos seeing your drag bikes stirred sommit up inside..... ......now where are those leathers???

You could of course be very naughty & drop a file onto the engine thus completly destroying the original numbers then quite by chance after a late session down the local & in a drunken stuper take a 6Llb mallet & a few number dyes & tap some new figures in

It looks like Garys cases are gonna go in and no doubt I shall purchase other parts from his good self as well....enough flattery there Mr Clarke? See ya soon Del!!
