Thank You

Post by g6mow »

On behalf of the NW Rally organisers TonyD, Higgsy and myself I would like to thank everyone who made the effort to attend and make the rally what I think was another success.

A few teething problems with the new venue, which I'm sure we can sort out for next year. The weather was against us again but did not seem to dampen anyones enthusiasm.

We feel the public vote system worked well for the trophies and with a bit of tweaking will be used again next year.

I would also like to thank everyone for going along with the KH and S Series theme. This will also be carried on for next year in an effort to get more members with smaller Triples involved, but please don't think we don't want 500/750's here as well, the more the merrier.

A special thanks to our foreign friends JP, Bertrand who I'm sure you will agree are true hero's riding all the way from Paris again. Not to forget Digital Dave flying in from Norway, its always a pleasure to see him. He is a true enthusiast.

Hope to see you all again next year if not before.

Great rally, loved it, thanks to the organisers, thanks to all for making me feel welcome (my first rally) and a final thanks to those who convinced me to come to the Northern, unfortunately my bike had other ideas and seized 2 miles from home  bugger, welcome to triples, Dave

No no Thank You Simon, and Tony et al.

Surprisingly despite the weather I still really enjoyed the ride outs and the natter, the new faces, the venue, the beer, the food.

Has that covered everything? We'll be back.

Haha, when we had all but pissed off home I noticed your tent was still there Mick and no signs of life.. strange though... you were both still looking compos mentis around midnight.

It's always that last drink that does it.. never the first one.

Nice to meet you both, don't leave it so long next time! :D
