Must be some rock band member wants it? I've sold loads of them, mostly for around the £60 - 70 mark.

one of the questions states that they are prepared to pay £8K.....mental

I don't think anyone who saw you riding down the road on aTriple wearing that jacket would say "ooooh look at that lovely Lewis Leather jacket he's got on."

More likely they'd say "kin hell 'cough cough' WTF was that noisy smelly fucker wearing"

Back in '77 I bought a blue Lewis Leathers jacket, it cost me £51, a lot back then. Sold it about 4-5 years ago, to the guy who's at the shows selling old leathers, he gave me £220 for it, good deal I thought then, maybe I should have hung on!!!
Mind you I wouldn't have sold it at all if it had still fit me, bit of middle aged spread since the 70's (sound familiar?)

Wonder what my mid 70's one piece Suzuki Lewis leather in white and blue would fetch? Boots and gloves to match too.

I'm a lucky boy because I have a Lewis leathers /Aviakit jacket which is a bit more modern than the one listed on eBay.

Something odd is going on. I wonder if its the Lewis leathers bit that is making them valuable. I've noticed that Lewis Leathers have been offering in magazine adverts to buy them back.

I am keeping my jacket in the hope that one day I might be able to zip it up again......cos it would go really well with the H1

In the meantime excuse me while I go and rescue it from the garage and put it in the wardrobe !!

Cheers

I sold mine on ebay 5 years ago for £320, I had a host of offers. Was rearly supprised, it had been in the loft gather dust for years.

Like others, I'd had a few too many pies to fit into it any more.

Wife, brought me a new Lewis leathers jacket for my birthday last year, its going to take me years to run the dam thing in.
