Post by Gard »

friend of nine at work who has not ridden for 20 years asked a week ago if i could search the airwaves for a "decent 2 h1 or h2 ..lokking for 4-5 days and did have in mind a semi non running cherry h2c thats sold yesterday in cumberland for £4k but as i was at home all day tuesday i spotted a purple h2c on u.s. ebay at around 5pm our time 11.am millwarky time <spelt wrong!>..it was not there 4 hours earlier, contacted the guy and got some details ..17k miles and frame and engine number then texted rick brett and asked if i got it could he ship and he said pete" im lm also looking at the same bike and waiting for details ...it was standing at $5500 or buy now for $7500. so i went in for it with brians money and pressed the buy now !...getting £$1.60= £1 i got it for £4680...ricks very kindly going to ship for around £1200 so £6000 or thereabouts for a very decent looking purple with new tyres and brand new paint but...a wild bill seat...i think brian will be pleased dont you ?

I was gonna say the same, the duty and vat alone is gonna be the best part of 1200 quid on that

Pete, If Ricks price includes it then that's a mega deal I would snatch his arm off but somehow I think you will need to up your budget :(
