You Lot!

Post by El Presidente »

Back in with an even bigger grin, and was immediately offered another H2 to try...bit more brave on the throttle, and I wasn't disappointed. Got back, and without even speaking to me a bloke fired up his H2. This was very tasty, the denco pipes sounded like pure evil. Same again, gently in forst, into second, even as I dropped the clutch I was bracing myslef. As much throttle as I dared (i.e. not much really, I ride like an old lady at the best of times), I was struggling to hold on when it cam on tap. On the way back I looked at the speedo, doing 70 without even trying

So, the verdict? First, the triple owners club are absolute legends, not even going to think what some of these were worth and they were good enough to trust a wild eyed youth. As for the bikes, as thrilling as the 750 is it's not for me. I like my licence too much, I'd hate to try to ride one sensibly. If anything the 500 is worse in that respect, but for out and out grin factor is the definate winner.
I'll put pics up tomorrow, Thanks again to Angel and her mates, apologies for not remembering everyones names (still making ring ding ding noises round my living room). Hopefully I'll have my own to bring next year
ARE, without doubt, the very best bunch of people on earth! I thank you all for being my friends, and I thank you all for being the friends of people you never ever met before! Just a great group that ALWAYS makes an effort to attend the rally an have fun - come raine or shine! Thanks also go to the black drummer guy in shawaddywaddy that always makes us welcome !
