That was a nervous 15 mins eh Malc :D

Most definitely the prettiest bike on the track. You must feel very proud.

What a day we had yesterday at the Mallory Festival of 1000 bikes. The entrance fee was a bit expensive but when we got inside we realised what a bargain it was. I would of paid the £18 just to see the fantastic array of bikes in the paddock. Club stands galore (the KTC should be there) Bit of autojumble. Events going on all day including sprinting, trials, grasstrack, celebrity talks etc etc. As well as all this you get to see all the x racers flying round the track on their old race machines, as well as all the private individuals on road and race bikes having the time of their life on a real racetrack. The show put on by the fellas on the Rotary Nortons was stunning. I'm still buzzing from the best bike orientated day out I have had for ages.

I will most certainly be attending next year for the full weekend and hopefully having a bit of track time too.

nice try Malc, but you would have to find one dumb arse to pay over the odds because of a ride.

If we have a stand I will certainly do my bit, but as I said I will hopefully be having a bit of track time so could not spend the whole weekend manning it.

I seriously think it would benefit the club to attend.

It definately was a good event and there were some H1"s and H2"s out on the track on the Saturday.
I too would be willing to help man a stand but like Simon I do intend to get some track time in next year.
Im sure a rota could be arranged that could work around those of us that want to attend.
I dont think the racing thing, modern or vintage is quite Geralds cup of tea, but I know you would support/ help us in what ever way you could
