Guys/Girls forget Ebay & the US for Wossner Pistons.
After my nightmare of having 2 Wiseco piston ring stop pins fall out & ruin my rebuilt H2 engine I will never use them again so after talking to people & reading about Wossner Pistons I thought this is the way to go!
After making several phone calls & looking at ebay, fellow SPSG Member Miami Mike told me about a company he used in Powys Wales called "Off Road Only" Fantastic service & Price, Give Keith a bell 0n 01597 822 666
Address........
ORO Unit 34
Ddole Rd I.E.

Jess is a great guy and his prices are very reasonable too. However, like all purchases across the pond, you take the chance that you'll won't be hit with the dreaded "Admin" charge plus the VAT. But, seeing as you will be wanting insurance I expect Jess will have to put the true value on the box making it almost a cetainty that you'll cop a charge.
Taking that into account, £344 is a really good price for a no-worries transaction.
Well done Del for posting!

Too true Chris trouble is higher the value of the part if you want insurance and value is declared you WILL get hit this end So you have option of taking a chance if seller will mark low value and risk losing part I guess.....since 2004 when I "found out " about Ebay I have never had a part go missing from the US. I have had forks crankcases seats and tanks shipped here and all of them arrived safe and sound and strangely none of them cost me more than $25 ....well that what the shipping chit says Gonna have a 500 crank for you soon are you doing Southern or Stafford mate??
I've been buying stuff from the US too from about the same time as you and I've only ever had one issue - a box containing pistons & six new IMS rods got damaged and when I got it, only ONE rod kit was left!! I'm very fortunate as a friend in the US collects all my US bought stuff and posts it out to me in a flat rate box. Obviously, as the value is always down as $29, I take a huge gamble each time but apart from the split box issue, I've been very lucky and never lost anything else. I have copped a few charges though, even with the $29 value on the box. I just think how many times it's come through ok and just pay it.
I am hoping to go to the Southern as I've not seen loads of people for ages. I'm really looking forward to it!

i have also had stuff sent to my COUNTRY MANSION in Chicago which triple members have purchased, i then ship them over to the UK and do not ask for insurance and put a low value on it, i have never had any thing lost yet but as Chris says you take your chances.most of it goes to my best mate Gary C

Look Guys I did'nt expect a spanish inquisition the whole reason for me posting this was for you UK guys to save some dosh & time.
I had already spoken to Jess Bikes regarding the package cost etc etc etc, he said he would only disclose it's true value as he has had runnings in the past with the leagle side of the US postal service, thus either way it's gonna cost you more than I have paid in the UK :!:
If you want to pay more or go your own way that fine, I was just trying save some hard earned penny's in these difficult times
Nuff said
Look forward to seeing you in two weeks Chris Matey
