Maybe I haven`t read the descriptions well enough, but neither seller are claiming them to be " UK " bikes are they ?

He says it's a 'genuine h2c' or words to that effect. I like the number plate digits that cast a shadow.

Genuine H2C. Yes. Rather than a B painted in purple or whatever !

Hmmmmmm. What do you think . If I build a nice shiney H2C , using a "genuine UK " H2-C frame, crankcases and logbook , but with everything else sourced from a US H2-B donor bike...............ok, I`ll drop the relectors and put a seat strap on it.......................
But does that make it worth a Grand more, because its a "genuine uk " bike ????????????

Quite possibly - and it has been done before to my knowledge, somewhere in the Midlands. But not for the pecuniary reason you are exploring I hasten to add.

Though I also know of a lovely multiple award winning UK spec H2C on a US frame (or was once upon a time) and I sincerely doubt that would knock back the value of this stunner of a machine. A machine that is still around but not in the club I don't think any more. Disclaimer - I stand to be corrected in case my memory is playing tricks.

If you found a H2B US donor bike you will have troubles with the seat and tank to do a H2C
