I think I saw Jim Redman at Stafford ? I know he had a stand there in April yet I find it sad that he did not get a mention at either of the shows. It is a classic show and he is from a classic age and was a brilliant rider.

Although he will attend the opening of an envelope...He is just one of a band of older riders who are happy to whore themselves out for personal appearances...Just not big news anymore.

Thanks for that Ade, some years ago I had the pleasure of talking to Tommy Robb at an Anglesy Show and he did mention that he did help lighten the pockets of a number of riders. It`s a shame because he was a good rider.

Jim Redman was indeed at Stafford.

We saw him at the 'picture stall' near the bar........ can't imagine why I was in that vicinity
