Well thank you, I do love my garden, small as it is, but look at the state of my dining room
The garden was a sheer slope when I moved in some 13 years ago, this has to go I said, 5 skips later and both me and Harv had manuallly removed enough soil to put it on the 3 tiers that I wanted (it's not suprising that we have bad backs now). Then we had to dig out for the pond, canal etc. that I wanted, this proved difficult as when we got 3 foot down we hit sand stone so the pick axe came out lol. To support the sides I opted for tanalised timber with a 15 year guarantee, this I religiously paint every year and so far is proving to be very good. The pond, the canal and the top pond which is not shown in the above pic are concreted and I did this myself although I did need the help of my dad to render the sides once I had finished the initial structures. Apart from that it's my own making. I am the daughter of a builder you know, he taught me in my younger years as his labourer but strangely he never mentioned about buying tiples parts
When it came to buying the shed last year I obviously had to change it, remove the lawn that was there and lay a few slabs, put some gravel down etc. By the way our Fred is still there bless him and he doesn't have a shed on top of him x
