My 1970 H1

Post by johnnymoped »

Image

This is the only picture I have of the 1970 H1 I had in about 1979/80 - it was fitted with a Suzuki GT380 front end for some reason before I bought it. Fast bike 8)

From memory :?
I don't think it had any transfers on the side panels at all - only the petrol tank. It was a much darker, richer red than the American pictures I have seen - I ended up painting it Kawasaki green and white and had it sign written.
I am guessing points - never touched anything on it except the centre head was helicoiled after I welded the plug in
I honestly cannot remember the registration number - it's the only bike I can't remember - but I don't think it was FLY.
Sorry I am not much he;p :(

If the current owner sends off for the history maybe Jonnymopeds name will be one of the previous owners?
