Andrew

I am sure we could drum up enough bikes, if we twist arms I am sure we could get half a dozen or so bikes from the North East.
My only misgiving would be , is it really a "classic bike" type show ?

I would certainly be happy to look at it. :D :D :D

True, the show's not really a classic bike show but there is a separate hall which runs alongside the main show & hosts the classic bikes section with a reasonable number of bikes usually displayed there.

It would be great to see a decent selection of triples , I'd be up for it but as has been said, we'd really need some more to attend to make a decent line up

It could be a good excuse for a weekend trip up to Edinburgh for some of our near neighbours , take in the show, a curry night and a few beers perhaps ? :D

Even if we don't do the show, the curry and beer sounds a pretty good idea anyway :D :D :D

Well then chaps, time will suddenly fly past and all to soon it will be show time at the bike show!As the date approaches,i suggest anyone looking to book up rooms should do it soon as places close to the venue will fill up.There is a new premier inn close by with bar and food and rates can be good if booked early,
telephone number is 0871 527 9284 or google it.Im sure most people staying over would prefer to be in one place,so get to it!!
Will be in touch with all who have kindly said they will bring bikes

just got the floorplan and passes for the show, and boy am i disappointed.after stressing the need for a good space as this will be the first triples club stand in the show,we have been allocated 30m2,one of the smallest plots,to small for 10 bikes and a club desk.
The other new club to show for the first time,is the norton owners club 54m2,the biggest plot goes to guess who,the vmjc at a whopping 140m2!!!

I have sent an email to request more space,so lets see what happens
seems like the vmjc are taking the biggest plot!!!

Are you sure that's too small Andrew? I would have said that for ten bikes and a club desk 10mtrs x 3 mtrs would be just about ideal, pretty much the same as we had 2009 and 2010 at Stafford. If it isn't the long oblong shape, we could have a problem, much the same as we did at Stafford this year
