Nice one Gotz, I presume you will be taking the Southern route, so we will see you there.

I have addressed the multi post issue and locked all previous ones THIS is the only active one now (on here anyway).

It is looking like there will still be a reasonable turn out from the UK Leon.

I hear the long range forecast for Mallory is rain, rain and more rain.
:D

You could make money if you can forecast the weather that far ahead Graham!

I know this is THE Spa thread on this forum, but I can I just say that, as the person who was, erm, asked to investigate the Festival of 1000 Bikes, it is not and was never intended to be in "competition" with the trip to Spa. Indeed they are on different weekends, so those with the energy, cash and time could do both!! I can see why some might opt for one over the other though and that's their choice.

So I hope that clears things up and I hope for all those wishing to do the trip Spa that it all comes together and they have a great time.......even if it does rain!!!!

Here is a anecdote vis-a-vis ( that is French ) RAIN.

The Dad of one of my staff decided to visit his daughter who was working in my Cafe . So he set of on his Triumph Triple just after midnight from Geneva (Switzerland) and arrived in pouring rain in St Albans (Hertfordshire) at 16.00h . He had rain for most of his journey through France and it was bucket loads in England too.

He was so drenched when he arrived outside my place that his pubic hairs were straight . (Before you ask I did not see it...just an assumption.)

I did ask him why on earth he was riding long distance in the rain and his answer ( which I will never forget ) was:

"It is only water. We drink it, it gives us life."

:D :D

Tried to add two more today... it looks like the £101.00 can no longer be matched..

If we get two more (ie 4 extra) then the price is £113.00 and that quote only holds for the duration of that phone call.. still cheep tho..

Top man... Excellent! :D

If you PM me your full name, contact phone number and email addy, I'll email you the full details and keep you up to speed on the progress.

There you go.. just one more bed going cheep then we're back to a full price..

if we book four at a time the price stays low, if there's one body more then that requires another room and that's where the price jumps up until we fill that room..

Looks like we might have our four... a new slip from a member in South Shields, just waiting a response to my email.

Went and paid the main amount yesterday, they have made a coupla mistakes one I knew but thought we might get away with is now sorted.

The other... they had the journeys wrong. I would say, 'their fault'.. I complained but need to contact their offices with the original booking details/date so there may be a few quid extra.. (looking like about a fiver each) not the end of the world just yet...
