Nipper, I can find some of you and some of Rod but not racing together. I'll put them up on here tomorrow and send you the ones you want if I can find the original scans. As I scanned them at work I may have lost them when I left, but I'll dig around the random files I downloaded and kept.

Here they all are Nipper, as previously posted I think probably on RB?s old board that crashed and why you couldn?t find them.

Pictures of Rod, all taken at what was Long Marston before it became Avon Park, or even Shakespeare County Raceway. The big concrete wall hadn?t been built and all the pits and activity was on the other side of the track from where it is now, and behind where the wall now stands.

How his bike evolved a little (this frame and rear hub evolved a lot more and are now part of the yellow bike Al Smith rides). In the second pic that is Kev Melling in the background, with the same H1 streetbike he ran until recently.

Nipper fixing a piston with, no doubt most helpful, instructions from
Roy Dean, and Masterblaster Keith. Also all taken at Long Marston.

And him again, with Al Smith on his S1. Not sure if he?d fitted the 400 motor by this time. How I now wish I?d bought that bike when it was offered to me by Ian Brison after Al had sold it on.

Martin bishop on his 500 road bike, trying to keep the Lectrons on the level. He reckoned they made it super economical as well as quicker.

Kev Melling on his one

Leo on s2 500

Kev Melling and his KH500 and Kev Cutts (?) with his 400 with an H1 lump and my H2C

Three H2C?s as pictured in the SuperBike report from their first streetbike meeting at The Pod, that we attended as part of the very first Triples Rally. From front to back, Rob Hudspiths, Nippers and mine.

Same weekend again at Long Marston, My H2c with a H2r motor in it went bang  ( I THINK Hal took this piccy as well  ) Most of the engine ended up in the exhaust pipes  - Obvioulsy overheated due to the obstruction of Air flow by the horn

Oh I had forgotten that one. Yes, it's the one I made into a poster for you isn't it, a verrry long time ago. I love the way we can see the whites of your eye's and the look of fear in them.
Pisses me off actually to see it, as it reminds me that I left all my best pics round at Martin Bishop's house by accident about 16 years ago and that's the last I ever saw of them

Thanks Nipper. I asked a few times and even left him with an addressed jiffy bag covered in stamps so all he had to do if he found them was pop em in and put in the post. Sort of gave up after that. :x :(
