Insurance Claims

Post by stevie747 »

Out of interest, has anyone had to make a claim from a crash on their triples?

Presumably everyone is on classic policies (FJ etc.) with agreed value. but what happens if you drop it and have to claim/value stuff like exhausts etc. surely everything doesn't simply get written-off due to parts cost/availability :?

And no, I'm not about to make one, just interested in anyones experience.

Thats a great shout!..I would be interested also.It seems that we rank our insurance cover by how cheap it is or how quickly they answer the phone, myself included. ...I think there was an article a while back in one of the mags about a member who had a bad experience.I can't remember the details though...

Wasn't it Phil the Paint that lost his 400 in a pothole?

Then, there was an 'incident' at the Southern Rally last year.

I was more interested in claims when it's your fault, so to speak, i.e. simply falling-off :?
