My 1966 W1 has a wooden screwdriver handle with the kawasaki aircraft logo on it.

According to KIC, it's for the listed models in the auction, + a lot of others. The number is superseeded (new one is -1001), so I'd guess that all the bikes listed in KIC includes the ones that are supposed to have the later black handle. The question would be: When did Kawasaki discontinue the red handle ?

With my W1 having a wooden handle screwdriver the question also is when/what models did they start using the handle in the auction???

Jeez, I really must get around to spoofing some of this old tat. Why am I bothering actually working for a living when a killing is to be made selling that sort of gear to guys with plenty of disposable ? Cost about 30p outta China with the dirty repro OE bag I'd guess. Just dont tell anyone it wont be real - right
