Good insurance company if registering a bike with DVLA

Hi all, joined December after getting a H1E from Rick Brett

For anyone new like myself I have found not to many insurance companies will cover your bike for more than 7 - 14 days on the frame whilst trying to sort the paperwork etc with DVLA,however BIKESURE will insure your chassis for 28 days and are a good price .

I am Sean from Lincolnshire, originally from Larne N.Ireland what a great site, which I think I will need over the next few months whilst replacing perished rubber bits....no leaking in my petrol tap yet !

did you not get classic insurance with
any of the following
Carole Nash
Footman James
Peter James?

last time I insured a bike on the frame number they just said " let us know when you get it sorted and give us the reg no"

that was footman james

Thanks for the response must track the other Larne man down,

re the other mentioned insurance companies Footman James would only insure for a week and were £30.00 dearer !

Peter James are good for classic insurance

how are you, I am a larne man although I have lived in lincolnshire for many years, but back and forward to larne every 10 weeks or so,always for the NW200,do you know any of the old bikers teedy mcombe ?

Know some of the "old" bikers. Most of the ones that I rode with have now moved on.
What bit of the town are you from.

I lived in seacourt in the 80s when first built,sister lives up the back of the highways, family all round Larne - Mcallisters everywhere !
back to Larne in March,although the old triple will stay in Lincolnshire to far to much two sroke ! and off course will be back in May for the old NW200.

Thanks for the response.

I am near Boston,Lincs still not to far, awaiting a reg plate for the H1E after registration with the DVLA.
Then a good check over,the bike has only 3500 miles on the clock but obviously old, but appears to run ok around the block at the moment.
