Yes it really did exist!!!!!

As you can see based on a H2C but with a square four water cooled 2 stroke unit going after GT750 sales with a big touring stroker :iconthumbleft:

Here's another odd one. Kawasaki Wankel, or Wanker as you would say in britain. The project was named X99. Are we sorry that these never happened ?

The front end appears to be from a Z1. The pic is from 72 0r 74. My japanese is a little rusty :D

Regarding the square four, it appears to me that Kawasaki scrapped the engine, and replaced it with a 750cc parallell 4 stroke twin and named it Z 750-B1.

the rumour says Kawasaki didn' get more than 60 HP from the road trapazoid four :shock:
perhaps Rick will find a rescue proto somewhere one day :twisted:
