Great weekend, met loads of clossit triple owners, And the farthest north owner ,[Les,] from orkney, stevie [frazerburgh] and Gordy, the mystery member,
The stand generated a big intrest from the public,

brilliant job boys,

Tartan gave the red wine a good thrashing, And it got him back in the morning

The stand was , it has to be said a real success.

We did not have the barriers to keep the bikes zoned off, so we took the decision to let the visitors in amongst the bikes,something that is VERY unusual at classic bike shows it was a very popular thing to do and we had a huge amount of people on the stand and they really seemed to appreciate the access we gave them. We had virtually no problems, with almost everyone treating the bikes with respect
We were a couple of times, victims of our own success when the stand was so full of people that no more could fit on. At one point I counted over sixty people on the stand

Thanks are due to Andrew, who drove this whole project from the beginning and it was wonderful to see Guy and John Blackie the Scottish lads turn out and put in a strong shift to support the idea of a Triples club stand in Scotland

Tango and Jen hauled the club regalia North and we subsequently took several hundred pounds in sales and quite a few new members as well
Danny Capaldi needs a mention, for doing the EIGHT hour drive to be there, even though he had an ulterior motive for being in Edinburgh

All in all one that we will want to do again and great fun

And we got loads of awards as well

It is refreshing to get recognition for the effort that goes into putting on a stand at a show and the bikes that make it up. We didn't use barriers in the past at Stafford and Donington and it made us popular due to the access, but it is written into the rules at Stafford that the bikes must be roped off (public liability blah!). Enjoy it while you can!!

Thanks from me to all for a great weekend. I got back home at 9.30 last night, so left all the unloading until this morning.

There's no doubt that the show was a success for the KTC, there was a hell of a turnout with people taking in the new bikes in the main hall, the 'spanner' boys in the central area, and all of us classic nutters in the Lowland Hall, as Malcolm has said our stand caused a lot of interest and I reckon we did a bloody good job

It was great to meet the Scottish lads, and 'pinch' a couple of rossettes
