I would like to say a big big thank you from myself to all members who attended my brother Chris's funeral last week and also the very generous donations which were received from the KTC members for the hospice in Yeovil where Chris (seems odd as i've always called his Christopher!) spent his last 3 weeks being selflessly cared for by the truly wonderfull nurses.
It was really nice to see so many members of the club he belonged to turn up to pay their respects. I wish i could have spoken to you all but the afternoon went so quickly, perhaps i can say hello at one of your meets in the future.
I would also like to say a big thanks to Bill Baxter and Gary Clarke and Roger Ramm for their help in trying to sort through Chris's workshop and their huge support while i was with my brother during his last week. He was my only brother and 8 years older than me and whenever i was with him i always felt like 'little brother'. It was Chris who got me into bikes as i suppose i wanted to be like him from a young age. I did go down a different fork though as i've always had Suzuki GSXR's and i've almost finished tarting my 1100WP 94 up from an 8 year bike break so if i can come to one of your meets it will be on that i'm araid until i get the project H2 Chris left me done. I would be very gratefull of any help while i'm doing it as unfortunately i never followed the engineering route like Chris, just the same passion for bikes! If i ever had any problems all i had to do was phone him and he'd have the answer. I am and always will be so very proud of my brother, we never had a major fall out all our lives and he always looked out for me, i'll tell you about the red mini pick up when i see you

Thanks for all the welcomes and kind words regarding Chris. I'm not an engineer and doubt I have 5% of his talent in the subject but I do have a huge passion for bikes and will love going to meets. Lost count of the time my bruv took me to Santa pod on the back of his Z1000 in the early 80's. I'm aiming to do him proud by building the bike he left me as I'm not completely clueless with bike mechanics but I'll do me best!

Chris was the best, if I could be half the person he was I'd be a proud man, we all miss him dearly.
Everytime I look at my iphone I have a photo of Chris I took of him last year sitting on his drag bike at home in his workshop & it brings a tear to my eye everytime

Never met your brother in person wish i had would have loved to have chewed the fat with such a talented bloke.only been in this club a couple of years ,but got to be the best bike club there is for helpful friendly people,
