Well, in fact won't used them cause that I need is a kind of big mettalic gasket cause my top crankcase has been elarging on the side ports and raise from 1 minimeter (bike could have done drag racing cause there is a drag race sticker on the tank: 71 H2 coming from USA via Rick)
Excepted this and a hole on the rear top case and a little broken part the cases are in VGC specially on the crankshaft bearings seats and want to use them as they matching with my H2F 0026* frame (not the same numbers of course but original one).
So the bike won't be at Spa and my 69 H1 will do the job with my other triples (some friends come with me).
Hope for the Southern this H2 will be ready.

if you let me know what thickness you want i will see what i can do , i can have them made in aluminium if you want
how long time do you need to do them - should be aluminium- when I will give you the thickness?

JP do yorself a favor and dont use ally gaskets, use a thick copper gasket and take any extra off the bottom of your cylinders.husson73 wrote:oh yes I want, just have to know the exact thickness, will come back cause the engine isn't in my officedownpipe3 wrote:jp i can get whatever thickness you require mon ami [within reason]

My base gaskets are 3mm thick and worked very well.
I know Gary can get these as well

gaskets
i have heard that they can blow out and also deform easy, plus if you use copper you can reuse them by annealing.mal71 wrote:Why not Ally gaskets Henry ?????
Not had any actual experience myself with ally gaskets. I know a few people who use copper and have never had a problem.
But i bet the little house knows on the other board, hey Little Weed !!!
