Yes Sam. I also remember at the Stafford show when a guy told me that his brother had TWO of them. :smt102 Trying to tell the knob that Kawasaki didnt make them was futile.

Know it alls!

Post by johnnymoped »

Funny how some people know it all.
In 1980 I had an S2 - went to the local pub as we did most nights - had a decent drink - like we did most nights. Ready to go home and got stopped by a knob who clearly knew his Kawasakis - "Nice H2 mate" - no mate it's an S2. Major argument about my bike - nearly ended in a punch up as he would not believe me it was a 350 - so they were around 20 years ago too :smt023
Same bloke maybe - LOL

A few years ago I went out to the local DIY store to pick up some bits and pieces on my Z650.

I came out of the store with my rucksack full of paint and stuff to see an old fart with big glasses squinting 2 inches from the bike.

" Thats a beauty he gushed" " I havent seen one for years"

"Thank you very much" I said.

" I used to have one myself back in the sixties " He continued

"But it was made in 1977" I informed him

" Impossible " He corrected me because ..........

I was in a petrol station one day on my S2 and was approached by an "enthusiast" who told me that Kawasaki didn't make a 350 triple! He either had poor eyesight or was a complete idiot! I then told him I had two!!
