Nice Run Out

Had a run up to Huggys Speed Shop in Atherstone and then to D&K in Stoke yesteday. Had a few issues, got to my mates house and suddenly clutch gone. I guessed it was the release assembly where the cable connects, I have had one go before.

Luckily my mate has a gas welder so off it comes, welded and back on. About a mile down the road no clutch again, but this time its the cable pulled out. Reassemble and all is okay until Rugeley where cable pulls out again. Put it back and this time pinched it with some pliers and it stays put. I now work for a company with a manufacturing plant, so might just see if I can get the little blighter laser cut in stainless.

Had a good ride back and gave it a right thrashing, my mate has a VF750 magna but stayed with him ok. Did just under 140 miles, a good day out.

I'll do that next time. I must also make one of the Bassets Pole meets, but each time I have been on holiday or the bike was broken.
