Help needed to finish 1972 S1

Post by Killerkel »

Hey guys,

I need some help to finish my 1972 S1. Can anyone recommend a resorter that coud finish my bike. I just don't seem to have the time to get it done....I'm in Surrey so someone down south may be favourable.

Bike is painted, frame is coated, wheel rebuilt and engine rebuilt. Needs wirring, some chroming, carb overhaul, bolting together and some missing parts sourced.

I just don't have any time....suggestions? (Richard Young is too busy!)

Yeah. We`re on with an S1 and two 71 S2`s at the moment. So that would fit in well.

Mind you Wolfie. Since you stuck your head above the Trench here, you may get a call regarding wiring........Lol.

Neither... I was fine until Tues then against my better judgement I was asked to look at a piece of test equipment in the RD dept at work, Dave was barking all the way back to their small room..

I said I didn't think it was a good idea to spend any time there but was pooh poohed at the door.. you could almost taste the bugs in the air inside.

I was in there about 2 mins (and noticed the others coughing and wheezing too). Within 2 hours I could feel my throat was getting raspy and by teatime I had my first sneezes..

I went yesterday as there were some promised units still to mend but made the point I probly would miss today.

I haven't slept either night, just spent the night snorting into tissues and eyes streaming.

Came home last night and Jane was barking and sneezing as well.. so she's off today too, I might even have to talk to her at some point.
