Chassis and engine number ID
Hi Guys-
Can anyone identfy these numbers -
H1F-11835
H1E-100735
Not sure but I think these are mismatched but would help if I know which number belongs to what year model.

Hello Graeme
,
Well according to the Kawasaki Recognition Bible:
H1F-11835 equates to a 1973 H1D 500cc.
(Frame Numbers start from H1F-00001)
Well if this is not mis-spelt & is not meant to be an H1F number also? H1E-100735 equates to a 1974 H1E Engine - Although should really start with KAE - (This Engine had Check Valves fitted wheras the H1D Engine did not).
Hope this is of some help? :smt023

Hey Graeme,
Great to see you posting on the club website. I have to say you were the most approachable special guest at Stafford in the many years I have attended the show. Obviously this site is not only about sharing information, but also about a bit of banter..... so I see you're covering the front brake whilst stationary on Malcolm's S2!! Surely covering the clutch would have been preferable? Seriously though, it was great meeting a fellow classic bike and triples enthusiast; I hope those fork stanchions turned out OK; certainly cheaper than Kiwi prices!
