I thought the new forum had become active with no posts on here, I haven't got anything to report but enjoy a read of what's happening triple related etc.

They are probably on Facebook which is nowadays busier than our Forum.

Facebook pages are good, even belong to the norwegian club site

( cant understand a bloody word but the piccies are great ! :D )

but still use all the uk forums as well & they are a mine of information, altho i must say posting a pic on FB is alot easier than this site ... All forms of modern media should be used to promote the cause & spread triplitis !! :smt023

Can't stand Facebook. A couple of years ago I lost touch with a friend in Australia but I heard he was 'on Facebook' so I registered to get back in touch. Since then I've been bombarded with 'friend requests' from losers in my past. Made the mistake of accepting the first few but now I get 'updates of their status' (whatever that means) - actually it seems to mean a blow by blow account of their dreary empty lives delivered in the third person. "Carol has updated her status". "Carol is in DFS with hubby". Really? Well how-fucking-fascinating. So glad I turned my computer on now. Carol, your status is that of a piece of steaming dog shit in the centre of the pavement. James has 0 friends. Sweeet.

Lou wrote:not a facebook fan either but you can control the amount of info you get on each person ...hover your mouse over their name and a window will pop up ...click on friends and you can unclick show in news feeds
Thanks Lou.
See that's what I needed to know. I couldn't be arsed to go and find out for myself 'cos that'd mean going on FB and trawling though the crap. I'm just not interested enough. It's a bit like the functions on my mobile phone. I know I could change the ring tone (or whatever) if I wanted to find out how, I just can't be arsed. So I wait until my nephew comes round and get him to do it. My 3 year old knows what all the functions on the TV remote do 'cos he's interested enough to find out.

Yeh thats a good one :D The amount of pointless shite my 21 year old niece put on fb is unreal................I only know this as the missus has an account  The younger lot seem to thrive on it tho but its worrying as it dispenses the need to speak or see each other face to face sometimes. Still having had an old man so tight we did'nt have a phone line into the house until he died and then Rog Ramm ringing me up to congratulate me on the new "electric talking machine" may make me biased. Sheet when I used to complain about not having a phone at home he would say "boy if they want to see you they can come around and knock on the front door"...........and they did...........all the frikin time  Still he never moaned about the countless bikes that used to come and go racing up the road "road testing" :smt023 Still miss him 28 years on . :(
