working on my H1B last night, I had the bike on prime and noticed a pool of petrol on the floor, for the life of me I couldn't turn the tap off, in a blind panic I got a set of pliers and tried to turn the tap off.... the wrong way & snapped the lever off

one thing that doesn't get any better with age is your mind, think I'll be dribbling out of both sides of my mouth by the time I reach 70

Those old vacuum taps are a nightmare at the best of times. I've only got to nod in approval at my H2 and it starts to leak.

My H1b's got one of those replacement taps that Z Power sell and whilst not original and authentic, gives no trouble.

You have my sympathy over your mishap......I've had a few of those moments!
