Left the MFN at 08:30 arrived in Dartford for lunch at 12:00. Left again at 15:00 and arrived in Lowestoft at 18:00.
560 mile weekend.
H2 is totally run-in now.
Looks like you were enjoying yourself on Saturday morning Nigel. And this was only at the filling station.
.
That's because I was doing at least 30 MPG oh the C compared to 12 MPG on the Kawacati.
Nice picture Andrew. Good to meet you both last weekend
Hope to see you at the Southern in September. :smt023
getting 12 out of the billet engine means you have a serious problem or bad set up

Leo usually gets around 45 mpg
Gary T
Ok Gary 12 MPG was a bit of an exageration ! I get 70 miles to a full tank on a run. Using TM 32's with 40 pilots and 225 mains. I have just changed everything to standard set up to see where that puts me.
Have not had time to do all the propper checks but now getting 30 mpg around town. Will test all throttle openings and final plug chop when I get back home.
Then will wait for the southern rally to see what I get on a run.
No JP. That is why I was asking Bertrand about his jetting specs last Sunday morning.
If he does find out what he is running it would be a great help with mine to get a decent distance from a tank of fuel. Will send him a PM and see if he can find out for me. :smt023
Nigel.. I just had 160+miles out of my last tank, I really expected it to run out on my way to work yesterday, as I started out from home on reserve, but it got me here (27miles) and then to the Petrol Stn at going home time.
15.66Ltrs for about 165miles. it's about 60/40 motorway/town e/w.
. I used to be a werewolf, but I'm alright nooooowwwwwww!!

Nigel, agree it's the way to go.

Wot is your carb - exhaust pipe and air cleaner set up ??
We are talking about your H2C ?? or is this a honda step thru
At the moment it is standard carbs, 40 pilot, 110 mains, 2.5 cutaways.
Higgsy (quiet) pipes, and the one into three rubber then a big open car filter on top.
Working out the numbers is about 40MPG which ain't bad cos I don't hang about on the motorway.
but then see my other thread about carb problems..
