This show is being organised by the Northamptonshire Branch of the VJMC and is in the Donington Exhibition Hall at Donington Park Race Circuit. The bike show is on the Saturday and Sunday, whilst the festival itself runs Friday to Sunday, 9th - 11th August 2013.
The club has been invited to have a stand of up to 10 bikes; I have 2 or 3 already, but I need 7 or 8 more to fill our alloted space. Those displaying a bike will get a maximum of two entry passes for each bike which includes entry on all three days of the festival and overnight camping. There will also be a chance on the Saturday evening to head out onto the track for a "parade"!!
Please contact me ASAP if you would like to display your bike as August isn't that far away, but make sure it's roadworthy, otherwise you'll be missing out. As always, if not camping, book your hotel early.
Further details can be found on the Donington website, http://www.donington-park.co.uk/events/ ... e-festival and the VJMC Website Events page, www.vjmc.com/events.html (you'll need to scroll down to the event).

Hi Gerrald,
I will commit to bring 2 bikes along on Friday...
Prefer the S2 & 70 H1 as they are "both on the road",
However, doubt I will do the parade so I can take 72H or Purple H2C, your choice Mate.
Its being run by my local VJMC Branch, so I will be making myself available to them over the weekend for various tasks as required.
Come on Guys, get some more Bikes on... I know its a busy time of year.. but this show is likely to get bigger & bigger.
Its also likely to be a good crack too.
I will be stinking, I mean camping for the duration.
Lets get together & burn some burgers eh

Dave, you're a star and no worries with the two "R"s or the VJMC thing - been in the same situation myself (and am still a member of course).sportster1250 wrote:Hi Gerrald,

If it's OK with you, I'm taking my no. 2 S2, so for variety, if you can bring your lovely red H1 and whichever H2 you prefer, that would be great.
Cheers
Gerald
