2013 Garden Of England Rally Thank You!

A massive thank you from myself to Mike & Karen Prentice and Greg & Maria for their help this weekend at the rally. It get harder each year as we unfortunately get older each year!

A big up Kent massive thank you from myself & Miami to all of you that braved the expected weekend down pour that thankfully most of us missed by the skin of our teeth.

Thanks from everyone at The Kawasaki Triples Club GB & Europe to Alison, Jonathan, Dan & his girlfriend & all the staff at the Hawkenbury Inn who have never been in this industry before and we know you worked your butts of all weekend not forgetting the Speedway boys who loaned out their yard free of charge as an over spill car-park & of course the Band Rockstox!

Not forgetting new member Steve Lord from Dunmo Essex who went & picked up our new SPSG Member Greg & his H1d near Ashford Kent after it gave up & conked out for good, well done Steve!!

The Hawkenbury Inn and Rockstox have already been booked for 2014! Dates for the rally are Friday 12th Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th September 2014.

Most people will now know that their was a 100 car pile up Thursday on the bridge at The Isle of Sheppey thankfully Mike, Karen, Greg & Maria didn't get caught in but did get delayed coming to the rally site, also Friday night RB & Kim Tester & wife got caught up for 24 hours stuck on the M25 due to a Bomb scare at The Dartford River Crossing so thanks for braving a sleep over in your cold vans!

Now a Massive apology to Blackhat John, Tartan triple Andrew, Graham Wolfe Denton & Old Man Ray Goddard for not mentioning on Saturday night that not only had you ridden all the way from Scotland & Yorkshire but continuing your journeys with the French crew to Paris on Sunday & then your epic tour to Andorra. I feel this was a very important announcement, but with everything else happening I forgot to mention it sorry. We all wish you the very best of luck & Graham is going to update us as when he can so good luck to you : )

I will post up later a roll call for the winners of the trophy categories and put this on the KTC forum as well.

year on year the Garden Of England Rally gets better & from the comments over the weekend this was the best so far. It's a joint effort we organise it but if you don't come it don't work!
