anyone know how many uk kh500,s there was, and how many survivors there are :?:

theres a mono shock one for sale in practical sports bikes,price is a bit rich though :wink:

Not sure of the numbers but the h1a and kh500 were the biggest selling h1's in the uk according to our leader.

the reason I ask I know of a uk kh500 and want to do a hybrid but if these things are rare it would be a shame to mess with it failing that anyone got a 500 scrapper for sale

That is a very noble and outstanding notion and probably represents the full acceptance of the poor anaemic younger sibling into the H1 family. .

The splendid club magazine did an article on import numbers into the UK, the figure of 600 was also suggested and where have they all gone?

Know of another so now we are up to 4 UK models 596 to go.

I have got a UK KH500 - thats two out of 600.

Is there anywhere we we can found out exactly was was sold in the UK.

7 plus a bit and counting.

I know there's a few more yet.

Bit of info: mine survived a heavy impact with a car in the 80's and probably owes existence to a protracted insurance settlement and a period of long term storage during in which it got lost.

I had one (LGY 735P) sold it in the early 80s, I think it ended up somewhere in Essex
