pic posting

Post by 666rog »

Anyone know how to post pics? On the first forum line, site info it says,
How to use the Calendars, Post Pictures within the Forum and work with the Gallery.
Afraid I cant find anything but avatar posting. When I tried to post a pic earlier, i clicked reply and expected to see attach file, as i do on all other sites. What am I missing? Can you upload straight from a pc like the other forums?
if you wish to quote me, that's fine. But please use the quote button provided, not a variation of my words.

Rog

Yes you can either use photobucket, etc or direct from a pc. It is the same as Simon's forum but the wording and location is slightly different. Below the box where you type in your words and the SUBMIT and PREVIEW buttons, next to the options tab is a tab it says "upload attachment" after that it's the same as Simon's Forum :D

Sorry that is a hangover from the old Forum, there are no Calendars on here, it was simply copied across from Kawaportal.. I'll go sort it now.

I also added a note on how to upload images direct from the PC while I was there..

well, it must be me. All I can see under options is this

Disable BBCode
Disable smilies
Do not automatically parse URLs
Attach a signature (signatures can be altered via the UCP)
Notify me when a reply is posted

How come the cheap sites are sooooo easy to use. :(

It should be shown as a white box immediately to the right of those options ?

I'm with you Rog, as I couldn't bloomin see it either. Looking very closely though just to the right of the word "options" is "Upload attachments" - click on that. Do you also have a screen with all dark grey background/edging and with the difficult to read black text on it? This is why I find it difficult to spot some things here.

Yes, I have that colour scheme on the PC at work but nowhere else, I'm not sure of the reason why it's that scheme on some peoples PCs and not on others.

But I'm at home the rest of this week, so I'll have a closer look.

OK so it only looks like that on Internet Explorer, on other Browsers it looks completely different.. where only the top header is displayed in the Triples Club Style and the rest is light grey/white.

However, I've activated 'Subsilver2' Style, so if you want to get rid of the Triples Club Style you can go to "User Control Panel" then "Board Preferences". In "My Board Style" drop down and select "Subsilver2" then "Submit"

This will however, revert to a PHP standard look and lose all the Club Forum styling and headers since it is still in a default state, at a later date we might design or copy some of the Club Style features across, this is something I have no access to.
