Whats happened at Repro Decals ??

Diablo Cycle are the new name for Repro Decals, you will likely have seen they do quite a bit of advertising in the classic bike magazines over here....which leads me to wonder why they bother ??

I just went through the site to order a $40 rear light, got all the way to checkout and came across this carriage charge ... like WTF ??



I had done a fair bit of business with Repro decal on the build up of my bike and they were always reasonable on prices and on delivery, but who is gonna pay $154 delivery to the UK ????

Are they consuming some form of hallucinatory substance or what ?? Why advertise over here if they are gonna charge that sort of money - no-one in their right mind is gonna pay that - surely

I have read elsewhere that there have been problems with postage cost calculations on the transition to their new site, which they want to iron out and will happily dialogue with you about. That was more about ganging up multiple items though I think as I vaguely recall.
The change in name is to reflect that they do so much more now than just decals, which many people were assuming.

I guess I will email Elaine then (I think it is Elaine ?) via the old site, cos she was always dead helpful in the past, but on the face of it that new site must cost them business.

It is a fault that needs fixing quickly. They would be better off leaving a message to enquire about carriage rather than it coming up with those sort of figures ?

Sounds like teething problems to me , and maybe some cock up with their new site construction which can happen to the best

Ellen has always been very helpful in the past and I'm sure contact with her should sort things out

I had the same problem about a month ago so I emailed Ellen and she sorted it and admitted they had a problem with the postage. Must be costing them a lot of money but they are slow sorting it.
